Electrolux - Refrigerator--horrible durability, worse customer service
We have had a french door bottom freezer refrigerator for 2 years. We initially bought this $3500 product and it was replaced after 1 year for a broken ice maker.
The replacement refrigerator has lasted 2 years (ice maker again broke at 1 year) and now is beyond repair according to the master technician recommended by electrolux. We have now been without a refrigerator for 3 weeks and there is no response from electrolux regarding replacement of this defective product. The customer service representatives have been responsive but have yet to resolve this problem and seem satisfied that "the ball is rolling" as they've said.
This is a premium product in price and looks only. The company provides below average customer service and way below average durability of their "luxury" product.
Electrolux Pros: Looks.
Electrolux Cons: No customer satisfaction, Poor design, Supervisors who not stand behind product, Quality, Not reliable.
